 AMAZON RIVER CRUISE - 03 days/02 nights |
|
1º Day - Monday
Pick-up at the hotel, at 01:30 pm, and transfer to Tropical Hotel´s pier. Departure from Tropical Hotel landing stage at 02:30 pm, in a comfortable tourism boat. Onboard presentation of the staff, the routes and facilities.Welcome drink. Navigation downstream the Negro River to the Xiborena region. During the trip, visitors will observe some wooden houses - a typical building, “Adolpho Lisboa” Municipal Market, the Port of the locals (ribeirinhos) and Educandos creek, as well as some important local industries and other relevant aspects of the activities developed on the river banks of the city of Manaus. Visit to the “Meeting of the Waters” (Encontro das Águas), where the muddy waters of the Solimões River run side by side with the dark ones of the Rio Negro for about 18km without mixing. Canoe trip in the Xiborena region, to see the creeks and flooded forests with their exotic fauna and flora, including the famous Victoria Regia (Water Lilly - in season). Return to the boat after sunset, in order to observe some interesting aspects of the Amazonian nightlife, including birds, caimans, as well as the nature’s lights and sounds. Navigation upstream the Amazon River (Solimões) to Janauacá Lake. Dinner and overnight.
2º day - Tuesday
Early morning canoe trip for bird watching. There are good chances of seeing Hoatzins and large flocks of Egrets and Cormorants. Breakfast. Visit to the inhabitants of the lake who live from manioc plantations, fishing activities, diverse fruit trees, rubber, Brazil nut trees, wood and other extractive products. Walk at the forest with commentaries by a specialized tour guide. Lunch and navigation through Janauacá Lake. Fishing for piranhas and other types of fish in the afternoon. Dinner. Night trip to see nocturnal animals, including birds, sloths, snakes, etc (according to the season). Navigation downstream the Amazon River.
3º day - Wednesday
Early morning bird-watching canoe trip in the Janauari Ecological Park waterways. Breakfast. Navigation back to Manaus, arriving at the Tropical Hotel´s pier at 11:30 am. Transfer to the hotel.

| NEGRO RIVER CRUISE - 04 days/03 nights |

1º day - Wednesday
Pick-up at the hotel, at 01:30 pm, and transfer to the Tropical Hotel´s pier. Departure from Tropical Hotel’s pier at 02:30 pm, in a comfortable tourism boat. Onboard presentation of the staff, the routes and facilities.Welcome drink. Navigation upstream the Negro River to the Pagodão river (a tributary of the Negro). Canoe trip shortly before sunset, returning after dark, with the possibility of observing nocturnal animals and perceive the change in the forest as night falls. Dinner and overnight.
2º day - Thursday
Breakfast. Walk in the forest with commentaries by a specialized tour guide. Visit to a "Caboclo" (native) family to observe the local way of life – manioc plantations, fishing activities, regional fruit trees, Brazil nut trees, wood and other extractive products. Lunch. Navigation through the Anavilhanas, the world's second largest fresh water archipelago, with more than 400 islands. Navigation. Night trip to see caimans and possibly frogs, sloths, snakes and other species, depending on the season. Dinner and overnight.
3º day - Friday
Visit to the village of Novo Airão, with its handicraft boat yards, sawmills, market and other activities. Lunch. Navigation to the beautiful beach of Praia Grande or other white sandy beach. Great opportunity for a refreshing bath and total relaxation, observing the vegetation of sandy areas. Canoe trip in Acajatuba Lake or adjacent lake domains to see the typical flora (rubber trees, Brazil nuts, useful palm trees of various types). Fishing for piranhas. Dinner. Night trip to observe the Amazonian nightlife. Dinner and overnight. Navigation.
4º day - Saturday
Janauary Lake Ecological Park. Canoe trip at sunrise for bird watching, discovering the flood plain forest and lakes with giant water lilies (in season). Breakfast. Navigation to the "Meeting of the Waters", where the muddy waters of the Solimões River run side by side with the dark ones of the Rio Negro for about 18km without mixing. Return to the Tropical Hotel´s pier. Arrival at 11:30 am. Transfer to the hotel.
